Stacey Godsoe, Sexual Assault Services Co-Coordinator, has been involved at Second Story Women’s Centre for over eight years largely as a volunteer and more recently on contract. Her background is education with a BAH, BEd and MEd, which led from the classroom to broader applications in her home community of Petite Riviere and Lunenburg County in general, including working with adults and adolescents who have not benefitted from the mainstream education system as well as coordinating seniors in a volunteer program. Her term as Chair of the Lunenburg County Community Health Board solidified her passion for community health, access to services, and the social determinants of health and their impacts on marginalized and underserved populations in this county. As a passionate feminist and mother of three she has also focused her energy on supporting regulation of midwifery within the mainstream healthcare system, access to breastfeeding support and ongoing efforts to eradicate violence and sexual violence against women and girls in Lunenburg County. Locally, she joined community efforts to keep the local elementary school open and assisted in developing a proposal for a community hub school model as well as turning a brown space into a community park.

Dianne Crowell, Sexual Assault Services Co-Coordinator, has been active in women's centres in the province for decades. A native of Argyle, Yarmouth County, her professional life has varied from being a high school teacher, owning and operating a fish plant, being a counsellor in a transition house, directing a women’s centre and working for non-profit organizations on issues affecting women and their families. She is passionate about the care and standard of living for older adults and works to ensure this on the agenda.
Dianne is also a writer and a passionate gardener. She’ll talk small space gardening to anyone who stands still and has converted several friends to the pleasures of eating homegrown.

Elisabeth Bailey, Social Media Specialist, also works as the Community Relations Coordinator for Second Story Women's Centre. She has a background in social justice work, food writing, and the Unitarian Universalist ministry.
